1. A reconfigurable-logic FPGA-based digital media appliance, comprising:

  • a video sensor integrated circuit for producing video data; and

    a controller comprising a reconfigurable logic configured electronically in an FPGA circuit for post-producing the video data;

    the video data being provided to a distributed group of network-extensible media appliances, such video data being provided using reconfigurable on-appliance logic configured electronically in the FPGA circuit for providing effectively a mobile reconfigurable effects studio using such on-appliance reconfigurable logic configured electronically in the FPGA circuit to enable network extensibility via multi-appliance collaboration or integration by the group of appliances associated or synchronized with a media project or covered event, at least one such appliance in the group being reconfigured effectively for updating by the mobile reconfigurable effects studio in real-time by the on-appliance reconfigurable logic configured electronically in the FPGA circuit for network-extensible digital effects processing via real-time signal processing to convert a communication format of the provided video data, the converted data being associated with one or more meta data tag for synchronizing video production or rendering thereof with one or more other video data provided by one or more other appliance in the group, such synchronization automatically enabling seamless collaboration or dynamic integration by the group appliances using one or more tag to produce the media project or reconstruct the covered event, such distributed group serving effectively as the mobile reconfigurable effects studio for digitally processing synchronized video data in the group in a network extensible manner, such that one or more reconfigurable logic configured electronically in the FPGA circuit of such mobile reconfigurable effects studio performs audio or video digital signal processing of the synchronized data, the mobile reconfigurable effects studio comprising a plurality of network-extensible media processing appliances that are synchronously integrated to function collectively within a network that enables wireless communication between mobile network-extensible media processing appliances, and such network distributes media pre-production compositing and post-production rendering by an integrated multi-appliance mobile studio embodied collectively among multiple media processing appliances, such media processing appliances collectively functioning to embody the integrated multi-appliance mobile studio by synchronizing pre-production compositing and post-production rendering of audio or video data or signal streams provided to or from such media processing appliances, each such media processing appliance that collectively embodies the integrated multi-appliance mobile studio each comprising FPGA-based reconfigurable logic electronically configured to synchronize pre-production compositing and post-production rendering seamlessly by the integrated multi-appliance mobile studio.
