1. A repeater for relaying an RF signal between an RFID (radio frequency identification) transponder having a transponder antenna, and an RFID reader having a reader antenna, comprising:

  • a first antenna pair consisting of a first antenna configured to be coupled with the reader antenna and a second antenna configured to be coupled with the transponder antenna;

    a first coaxial cable which is coupled to the first and second antennasa second antenna pair consisting of another first antenna configured to be coupled with the reader antenna and another second antenna configured to be coupled with another transponder antenna included in another RFID transponder; and

    a second coaxial cable which is coupled to the antennas of the second antenna pair, whereinthe reader antenna has a coil element,the first antennas each have a coil element, andthe coil elements of the first antennas each have an axis that is substantially the same as an axis of the coil element of the reader antenna.
