1. A display device comprising:

  • a display panel including a plurality of pixels having transmittancy; and

    an image pickup device disposed over one side of the display panel,wherein each of the plurality of pixels includes a light-emitting element and a thin film transistor,wherein the light-emitting element includes a first electrode, an EL layer, and a second electrode,wherein each of the plurality of pixels has a first region in which the first electrode, the EL layer and the second electrode are provided, and a second region in which the second electrode is provided and in which the first electrode is not provided, the second region being transmissive to visible light,wherein an interlayer film is provided between the thin film transistor and the light-emitting element, the interlayer film being in contact with the first electrode in the first region, and the interlayer film being in contact with the second electrode in the second region,wherein a bank is provided over the interlayer film,wherein a passivation film is provided over the second electrode, the passivation film being in contact with the second electrode, andwherein the image pickup device takes an image of an object by receiving visible light from the object through the second regions of the plurality of pixels included in the display panel.
