1. A monitor for connecting to an external computer, the monitor comprising:

  • a housing;

    a flat panel display disposed within the housing for displaying a video signal provided from the external computer through a video input socket of the monitor, flat panel display comprising a screen;

    a printer provided behind a back of said flat panel display as viewed by the user and operationally integrated with the flat panel display, the printer including a pagewidth printhead for printing onto print media print data provided from the external computer through a serial data connection of the monitor; and

    a sheet feeder for feeding a sheet of print media from a stack of print media past the pagewidth printhead, the stack of print media being located behind the screen and inside the housing such that, immediately prior to commencement of printing, at least an edge of the print media is visible above an upper edge of the flat panel display,wherein the printer is disposed within the housing,wherein at least a majority of a print path of the print media for printing is in a plane that is substantially parallel to a plane defined by the flat panel display.
