1. A display device comprising:

  • a substrate;

    a base film over the substrate;

    a plurality of pixel regions over the base film, wherein each of the plurality of pixel regions comprisesa first thin film transistor which has a first active layer, a first source electrode, and a first drain electrode,a second thin film transistor which has a second active layer, a second source electrode, a second drain electrode, and a gate electrode,a pixel electrode electrically connected to the second source electrode or the second drain electrode,a light emitting layer comprising an organic material formed over the pixel electrode, anda second electrode over the light emitting layer comprising the organic material;

    a driving circuit for driving the plurality of pixel regions, the driving circuit comprising a third thin film transistor over the substrate; and

    a housing material opposed to the substrate and adhered to the substrate by an adhesive, thereby forming an airtight space between the substrate and the housing material,wherein the base film is interposed between the substrate and the adhesive and in contact with the adhesive,wherein one of the first source electrode and the first drain electrode is connected to the gate electrode of the second thin film transistor,wherein the first thin film transistor has a multi gate structure in which the first active layer has a plurality of channel regions connected in series, andwherein the plurality of pixel regions and at least a part of the driving circuit are located in a region surrounded by the adhesive.
