1. A method for classifying digital communications, the method comprising:

  • enabling a recipient to perceive information relating to one or more digital communications received by the recipient;

    enabling a first interface element that enables the recipient to issue a complaint about one or more digital communications received by the recipient;

    receiving user input selecting a digital communication and invoking the first interface element while the digital communication is selected;

    in response to the user input invoking the first interface element while the digital communication is selected, displaying a complaint report interface that enables the recipient to enter additional information regarding the complaint about the digital communication;

    in response to receiving additional information regarding the complaint about the digital communication, generating, using a computer, a complaint report that combines information about of the digital communication with the additional information regarding the complaint about the digital communication; and

    notifying a network server of the complaint about the digital communication by sending the generated complaint report to the network server.
