1. A device comprising:

  • (a) a valve isolation element that includes;

    (i) a ventricular side aortic valve occlusion element configured to prevent fluid flow from the valve to the ascending aorta, the ventricular side aortic valve occlusion element comprising a funnel structure, the funnel structure including a self-expanding ring and a thin membrane impervious to fluid flow; and

    (ii) an ascending aorta occlusion element, the occlusion element including an occlusion bell comprising an expandable wire scaffold;

    (b) a shunt element having first and second ends and configured to provide blood flow through a region of isolation proximate the aortic valve, the funnel structure being positioned at a distal end of the shunt to anchor the device in place, the shunt element passing through the central regions of the ventricular side aortic valve occlusion element and the ascending aorta occlusion element and having at least one inflow port and at least one outflow port with a one way valve; and

    (c) an aortic valve flushing element comprising a dissolution fluid introduction element and an aspiration element configured to maintain the volume and pressure around the valve substantially constant.
