Camera having printer for printing interactive interfaces
First Claim
1. A camera for capturing and printing an image, the camera comprising:
- (a) a camera module, including an image sensor, configured to;
(i) receive a user input; and
(ii) capture, via the image sensor and in response to the user input, the image;
(b) an interface module configured to;
(i) receive, from the camera module, the image; and
(ii) transfer the image to a computer system; and
(c) a printing module, including a printing mechanism and a removable cartridge having print media and ink supplies for the printing mechanism, configured to;
(i) receive, from the camera module, the image; and
(ii) print an interface onto a surface of a page of a plurality of pages of the print media supplied by the cartridge using ink supplied by the cartridge, each page of the print media having an identity assigned by the computer system, the interface including the image and coded data at least partially indicative of the identity of the page and an identity of the image associated with the identity of the page, thereby allowing the identities of the pace and image to be obtained from the interface,wherein the interface module is configured to receive response data generated by the computer system in repsonse to performing an action, and wherein the printing module is configured to;
(i) receive, from the interface module, the response data;
(ii) generate a second interface based at least partially on the response data; and
(iii) print the second interface on a second surface.

Abstract
A camera is provided having a camera module, a network interface module and printing module. The camera module receives user input and captures the image with an image sensor in response to the user input. The interface module transfers the captured image to a computer system. The printing module prints an interface onto a surface including the image and coded data at least partially indicative of an identity of the image. This allows the identity of the image to be obtained from the interface. The interface module receives response data generated by the computer system in response to performing an action, and the printing module receives the response data from the interface module, generates a second interface based at least partially on the response data, and print the second interface on the second surface.
