1. A handheld wireless communications device with a first antenna and a second antenna, comprising:
- radio circuitry configured to communicate in a first radio frequency band and in a second radio frequency band, wherein the second radio frequency band is different from the first frequency band, wherein the first radio frequency band is a cellular communications frequency band, wherein the radio circuitry supports cellular phone communications and supports wireless local area network communications, and wherein the radio circuitry is operatively coupled to the first antenna and to the second antenna; and
a processor operatively coupled to the first antenna and the second antenna, wherein the processor is configured to enable at least one of the cellular phone communications and the wireless local area network communications according to the selection of at least one of the first frequency band and the second frequency band.
