1. A method of creating a three dimensional image of a target comprising:

  • emitting a first beam of laser light having a first wavelength from a first laser; and

    emitting a second beam of laser light having a wavelength from a second laser that is different from the wavelength of said first beam of laser light;

    combining said first and second beams of laser light into a beam of light;

    transmitting the combined beams of laser light to a scanner;

    transmitting said combined beams of laser light from said scanner to said target; and

    wherein said target is a patient and wherein light from said first laser is reflected off the patient and absorbed by the blood in the veins in the patient'"'"'s body; and

    wherein said first beam of laser light is emitted by a first laser, said first laser having a means for varying the laser intensity, said means for varying the first laser intensity driving a first laser driver for said first beam of laser light at a power output dependent on a frame of a frame counter; and

    wherein the reflected light is sensed and converted to an analog signal, said signal passing through a converter which outputs a digital representation to a first image memory for each frame and whereupon completion of each frame, said image memory contains an image; and

    displaying said image.
