1. A surgical device, comprising:

  • at least one controller located at a proximal end of the device, said controller being adapted to transmit hydraulic or mechanical control signals;

    at least one manipulator, said manipulator being configured to be controlled by a human hand and to actuate said controller by mechanically transmitting control signals from the manipulator to the controller;

    at least one slave located at a distal end of the device, said slave being configured to be inserted into the body of a patient and to respond to said hydraulic or mechanical control signals transmitted by said controller and said slave including a surgical tool; and

    a control line configured to extend inside the body of a patient and to provide said hydraulic or mechanical control signals between the controller and the slave,wherein movement of the surgical tool is caused directly by the force applied to the manipulator.
