1. A nerve cuff comprising:

  • a wall band member having proximal and distal ends thereof, an inner surface defining a lumen extending between the proximal end and the distal end when said wall band member is in a closed configuration for receiving a nerve therethrough; and

    at least one pair of contiguous conductors extending along the inner surface between the proximal end and the distal end, wherein each conductor of the at least one pair of contiguous conductors comprises at least one exposed portion situated between the proximal end and the distal end and wherein the remaining portion of each conductor of the at least one pair of contiguous conductors is insulated, thereby providing at least two electrodes,wherein, when mounting said nerve cuff to a nerve, said electrodes are in electrical communication with the nerve.
