1. A routing method of a sensor node using a time division access scheme, wherein the sensor node is associated with a plurality of neighboring nodes, the method comprising:

  • transmitting a beacon to at least one of the neighboring nodes in a first time slot within a second beacon interval that is allocated to the sensor node;

    if a beacon comprising routing information is not received from any of the neighboring nodes in a first beacon interval occurring before the second beacon interval, then receiving a beacon in the second beacon interval only from each of the neighboring nodes that is connected to the sensor node by a routing topology; and

    if a beacon comprising routing information is received from at least one of the neighboring nodes in the first beacon interval, then receiving a beacon in the second beacon interval from each of the neighboring nodes.
