1. A real-time network node location system, comprising:

  • a tag to broadcast a plurality of signals;

    a plurality of routers each comprising at least one omni-directional antenna to receive at least a first part of the plurality of signals and at least one directional antenna to receive at least a second part of the plurality of signals, the plurality of routers to transmit information identifying signal strengths of the at least the first part and the at least the second part of the plurality of signals; and

    a location engine to;

    process at least the information identifying the signal strengths of the at least the first part of the plurality of signals to determine a position of location of the tag; and

    process at least the information identifying the signal strengths of the at least the second part of the plurality of signals to determine an area of location of the tag.
