1. A method, comprising:

  • establishing communications between a dongle in a consumption mode and one or more source devices, wherein the one or more source devices are part of a network and store content to be aggregated for output on equipment;

    receiving a user'"'"'s selection of one or more directory structures on each of the one or more source devices to be included in the aggregated content;

    creating a file share for each of the selected directory structures without storing, on the dongle, the content of the directory structures;

    establishing communications between the dongle in an aggregation mode and the equipment;

    connecting the dongle to the network;

    aggregating content in the created file shares to present the aggregated content as a single mass storage device to the equipment; and

    at the equipment, receiving the content via the network connection of the dongle.
