1. An optical recording display medium comprising:

  • a first display layer whose display changes according to an applied voltage;

    a first photoconductive layer that is provided opposing the first display layer and changes a voltage applied to the first display layer according to irradiated light;

    a selective transmission layer that is provided on a light path to where light irradiated toward the first photoconductive layer arrives at the first photoconductive layer, and having a transmissivity with respect to the irradiated light that increases as an intensity of the irradiated light increases;

    a second display layer whose display changes according to an applied voltage; and

    a second photoconductive layer that is provided opposing the second display layer and that changes a voltage applied to the second display layer according to irradiated light,wherein the selective transmission layer is provided on a light path to where light transmitted through the second display layer and the second photoconductive layer arrives at the first photoconductive layer.
