1. A method for generating a printable representation of multimedia information stored in a plurality of multimedia documents, the method comprising:

  • receiving, at one or more computer systems, information indicative of selection criteria;

    generating, with one or more processors associated with the one or more computer systems, a printable representation of each multimedia document in the plurality of multimedia documents from multimedia information electronically stored in the multimedia document, the printable representation of each multimedia document incorporating printable representations of at least two types of the multimedia information of the multimedia document;

    identifying, with the one or more processors associated with the one or more computer systems, a first printable representation of multimedia information electronically stored in a first multimedia document based on one or more of the printable representations of the first printable representation of the at least two types of multimedia information in the first multimedia document satisfying the selection criteria;

    identifying, with the one or more processors associated with the one or more computer systems, a second printable representation of multimedia information electronically stored in a second multimedia document based on one or more of the printable representations of the second printable representation of the at least two types of multimedia information in the first multimedia document satisfying the selection criteria; and

    generating, with the one or more processors associated with the one or more computer systems, a consolidated printable representation of the multimedia information electronically stored in the first multimedia document and the multimedia information electronically stored in the second multimedia document based on at least one portion extracted from the first printable representation of the first multimedia document and at least one portion extracted from the second printable representation of the second multimedia document.
