Information processing apparatus, information processing system, processing method thereof, and recording medium
First Claim
1. An information processing apparatus comprising:
- at least one processor programmed to control;
a control unit configured to determine whether a received folder is a search folder or a folder that is not the search folder, wherein the search folder has a search status and holds a search result, and wherein the folder that is not the search folder is not searched and does not include a search status or a search result,wherein the search condition includes a condition that considers a text of the file as a search target, and wherein the search folder and the folder that is not the search folder are disclosed as a target folder;
a search unit that conducts a search or searches corresponding to one or a plurality of search conditions set in the search folder, wherein search unit comprises a full-text search unit that conducts a full-text search capable of holding full-text search index data, and conducts a full-text search based on the index data and acquires a folder information list based on the target folder information;
performing a repetitive check to identify the search folder when the folder is a search folder, andwherein the search unit checks that the full text search is functioning and provides a receipt confirming the search status;
a display unit configured to display the search folder based on the search status receipt as an element of lower hierarchy, and the folder that is not the search folder without the element of lower hierarchy;
an obtaining unit configured to obtain the search status of the search folder, wherein the obtained search status includes a plurality of conditions for the full text search; and
a determination unit configured to determine whether the obtained search status includes at least one abnormal condition indicating a search status that fails to conduct a normal search, for each of the plurality of the conditions,wherein the display unit displays the search folder so as to be identifiable from the folder that is not the search folder, andwherein the display unit visually marks the search folder indicating an abnormal search condition on the search folder;
wherein the search folder has the search status which is determined by the determination unit to include at least one abnormal condition.

Abstract
Aspects of invention may allow an operator to recognize that a search corresponding to search conditions set in a search folder does not function when such case occurs. In one embodiment, an information processing apparatus may include a search unit that conducts a search that corresponds to each of one or a plurality of search conditions set in a search folder, and searches for at least one folder element of the search folder. The apparatus also includes a search status confirmation unit that confirms the search status for each search condition in the search unit, and a folder-content display unit (e.g., search folder display unit) that displays, when the search status confirmation unit confirms that the search corresponding to the one or plurality of search conditions set in the search folder does not function, information indicating a malfunction.
