Abstract

Methods, systems, and storage mediums for providing multi-media content storage and management services are provided. A method includes, from a single user interface: creating a library of content items, creating at least one other content item that includes an electronic greeting, and associating at least one component of the library with the electronic greeting to form an arrangement. The electronic greeting includes an electronic greeting card and a personalized message. The electronic greeting also includes a gift associated with a unique code. The gift includes one or more of a: music selection, movie, computer game, and video game. The gift is retrievable via electronic download upon entry of the unique code.

Claims

1. A computer-implemented method for providing multi-media content storage and management services operating on one or more computer processors, the computer processors in communication with a host system computer over a communication network, the method comprising:

providing, from a single user interface, a menu of options, each of the options corresponding to one of the multi-media content storage and management services offered via the single user interface, the options configured for;

accessing the multi-media content storage and management services by accessing a module in response to a selection of one of the services via the single user interface, the services including creating, editing, and sharing a library of content items, wherein modules are defined for each of the services, and wherein libraries of content items comprise a photo library and a video library, the photo album including options to select frames, mats, and backgrounds for the content items;

creating at least one other content item via another module, the other content item comprising an electronic greeting, wherein the electronic greeting includes an electronic greeting card and a personalized message, wherein the electronic greeting further includes a gift associated with a unique code, the gift comprising at least one of a;

movie, computer game, and video game, wherein the gift is retrievable via electronic download upon entry of the unique code; and

associating at least one of the content items of the library with the electronic greeting to form an arrangement;

delivering of the arrangement to one of a user, a designated recipient of the user, and a third party service provider; and

wherein the delivering of the arrangement including uploading and downloading using a free turbo feature granted to the user for a specific number of free high-speed uploads and free high-speed downloads of the arrangement.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the single user interface provides transactional services including selecting, editing, billing, purchasing and delivering of the arrangement to one of a user, a designated recipient of the user, and a third party service provider.

3. The method of claim 1, further comprising associating a music selection with the arrangement via the single user interface.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein creating the library of content items includes:

editing components of the library; and

adding captions to components of the library.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein creating the library of content items further includes transmitting the library of content items to a third party service provider for processing.

6. The method of claim 1, further comprising tracking activities conducted relating to the content items and linking the activities to a billing system.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein the library of content items is uploaded or downloaded via a single access high-speed turbo feature.

8. A system for providing multi-media content storage and management services, comprising:

a host system comprising at least one server executing a web server application and a real-time media delivery application; and

a multi-media content storage and management application executable by the host system, the multi-media content storage and management application implementing a method, the method comprising;

providing, from a single user interface, a menu of options, each of the options corresponding to one of the multi-media content storage and management services offered via the single user interface, the options configured for;

accessing the multi-media content storage and management services by accessing a module in response to a selection of one of the services via the single user interface, the services including creating, editing, and sharing a library of content items, wherein modules are defined for each of the services, and wherein libraries of content items comprise a photo library and a video library, the photo album including options to select frames, mats, and backgrounds for the content items;

creating at least one other content item via another module, the other content item comprising an electronic greeting, wherein the electronic greeting includes an electronic card and a personalized message, wherein the electronic greeting further includes a gift associated with a unique code, the gift comprising at least one of a;

movie, computer game, and video game, and wherein the gift is retrievable via electronic download upon entry of the unique code; and

associating at least one of the content items of the library with the electronic greeting to form an arrangement;

delivering of the arrangement to one of a user, a designated recipient of the user, and a third party service provider; and

wherein the delivering of the arrangement including uploading and downloading using a free turbo feature granted to the user for a specific number of free high-speed uploads and free high-speed downloads of the arrangement.

9. The system of claim 8, further comprising a storage device in communication with the host system, the storage device housing multi-media content;

wherein the multi-media content includes music, and the user interface is further operable for enabling the client system to associate a music selection with the arrangement via the single user interface.

10. The system of claim 8, wherein the single user interface provides transactional services including selecting, editing, billing, purchasing and delivering of the arrangement to one of a user, a designated recipient of the user and a third party service provider.

11. The system of claim 8, wherein creating the library of content items includes:

editing components of the library; and

adding captions to components of the library.

12. The system of claim 8, further comprising a link to the third party service provider, wherein creating the library of content items further includes transmitting the library of content items to a third party service provider for processing.

13. The system of claim 8, wherein the at least one server executes a billing application, wherein the server tracks activities conducted relating to the content items and transmits details of the activities to the billing application.

14. The system of claim 8, wherein the library of content items is uploaded or downloaded via a single access high-speed turbo feature provided by the user interface.

15. A non-transitory storage medium encoded with machine-readable program code for providing multi-media content storage and management services, the program code including instructions for causing a computer to implement a method, comprising:

providing, from a single user interface of the computer, a menu of options, each of the options corresponding to one of the multi-media content storage and management services offered via the single user interface, the options configured for;

accessing the multi-media content storage and management services by accessing a module in response to a selection of one of the services via the single user interface, the services including creating, editing, and sharing a library of content items, wherein modules are defined for each of the services, and wherein libraries of content items comprise a photo library and a video library, the photo album including options to select frames, mats, and backgrounds for the content items;

creating at least one other content item via another module, the other content item comprising an electronic greeting, wherein the electronic greeting includes an electronic card and a personalized message, wherein the electronic greeting further includes a gift associated with a unique code, the gift comprising at least one of a;

movie, computer game, and video game, and wherein the gift is retrievable via electronic download upon entry of the unique code; and

associating at least one of the content items of the library with the at least one other content item to form an arrangement;

delivering of the arrangement to one of a user, a designated recipient of the user, and a third party service provider; and

wherein the delivering of the arrangement including uploading and downloading using a free turbo feature granted to the user for a specific number of free high-speed uploads and free high-speed downloads of the arrangement.

16. The storage medium of claim 15, wherein the single user interface provides transactional services including selecting, editing, billing, purchasing and delivering of the arrangement to one of a user, a designated recipient of the user and a third party service provider.

17. The storage medium of claim 15, further comprising instructions for implementing:

associating a music selection with the arrangement.
