1. A computer-implemented method for assigning video signals, comprising:

  • receiving, at an interface, a plurality of video signals from a plurality of cameras located at one or more remote sites, the plurality of video signals for display on a plurality of monitors at a local site;

    determining, at one or more processors, a first position for displaying on one of the plurality of monitors a first video signal relative to one or more other video signals of the plurality of video signals;

    wherein the first video signal is associated with a first camera of the plurality of cameras;

    wherein the one or more other video signals are associated with one or more other cameras of the plurality of cameras;

    wherein the first position is determined based on;

    the location and alignment of the first camera relative to the one or more other cameras; and

    a number of the plurality of video signals relative to a number of the plurality of monitors; and

    displaying the first video signal at the first position on one of the plurality of monitors.
