1. A method of constructing a lead assembly or use in implantable and non-implantable medical devices comprising:

  • providing a single, continuous length of electrode wire to form an electrical circuit;

    helically winding said single, continuous length of electrode wire over a length of flexible tubing from a first end of said electrical circuit to a second end of said electrical circuit;

    forming at least one non-resonant filter from said single, continuous length of electrode wire;

    forming a resonant LC filter from said single, continuous length of electrode wire, said resonant LC filter formed by winding said single, continuous length of electrode wire to create a plurality of physically stacked layers said resonant LC filter positioned distal to said at least one non-resonant LC filter.
