1. An electronic battery tester for use in testing a battery pack formed by a plurality of storage batteries, comprising:

  • dynamic parameter measurement circuitry configured to measure dynamic parameters of batteries, wherein the dynamic parameters are related to an applied signal;

    a memory containing programming instructions;

    an output configured to provide instructions to an operator; and

    a microprocessor configured to operate in accordance with instructions stored in the memory and perform a battery test on a battery of the battery pack, the memory containing instructions which are performed by the microprocessor to thereby provide a message on the output which contains instructions to the operator to disconnect the battery from other batteries in the battery pack to thereby isolate the battery from other batteries in the battery pack, the microprocessor further configured to perform a battery test on the isolated battery, further including an electrical load, wherein the battery test is further a function of a load test.
