1. A radiation-emitting device comprising:

  • a substrate;

    a single stack of organic functional layer on the substrate; and

    a second electrode on the single stack of organic functional layers,wherein the substrate includes a plastics film and a metal film, and the metal film is arranged between the plastics film and the single stack of organic functional layers and is configured as a first electrode, anda thin-film encapsulation arranged on the second electrode and on the substrate to encapsulate the at least one organic functional layer,wherein the substrate has a larger lateral dimension than the single stack of organic functional layers and the second electrode,wherein the metal film as the first electrode and the plastic film are continuous films, which extend underneath of the single stack of organic functional layers and the second electrode and in side view beyond the side edges of the single stack of organic functional layers and the second electrode,wherein the thin-film encapsulation is arranged directly onto the second electrode, andwherein the thin-film encapsulation is hermetically impermeable to water.
