1. A carbon nanotube film, comprising:
- a structure being free of polymer and elastically deformable along a second direction;
the structure is elastically deformed along the second direction by stretching and comprises;
a plurality of first carbon nanotubes orientated primarily along a first direction, the first direction being substantially perpendicular to the second direction; and
a plurality of second carbon nanotubes having orientations different from the first direction, at least one portion of each of the plurality of second carbon nanotubes being in contact with at least adjacent two of the plurality of first carbon nanotubes, wherein the plurality of second carbon nanotubes are dispersed disorderly, joined neither end to end nor side by side, have different extending directions, and a mass ratio between the plurality of second carbon nanotubes and the total of the plurality of first carbon nanotubes and the plurality of second carbon nanotubes is in a range from about 14% to about 33% so that the structure is capable of about 300% elastic deformation along the second direction.

Abstract
A carbon nanotube film includes a plurality of first carbon nanotubes and a plurality of second carbon nanotubes. The first carbon nanotubes are orientated primarily along a same direction. The second carbon nanotubes have different orientations from that of the plurality of first carbon nanotubes. Each of at least one portion of the second carbon nanotubes contacts with at least two adjacent first carbon nanotubes.

10. A carbon nanotube film, comprising:
a structure being elastically deformable along a second direction;
the structure is elastically deformed along the second direction by stretching and consists of;a plurality of first carbon nanotubes arranged side by side and primarily orientated along a first direction, the first direction being substantially perpendicular to the second direction; and a plurality of second carbon nanotubes being arranged along directions different from the first direction, wherein some of the plurality of second carbon nanotubes being in contact with at least adjacent two of the plurality of first carbon nanotubes via van der Waals attractive force, wherein the plurality of second carbon nanotubes are dispersed disorderly, joined neither end to end nor side by side, have different extending directions, and a mass ratio between the plurality of second carbon nanotubes and the total of the plurality of first carbon nanotubes and the plurality of second carbon nanotubes is in a range from about 14% to about 33% so that the structure is capable of about 300% elastic deformation along the second direction.
