1. A radio frequency (RF) integrated circuit (IC) comprises:

  • a signal receiving section operably coupled to;

    convert a cellular data inbound RF signal into a cellular data inbound symbol stream;

    obtain a wireless local area network (WLAN) inbound symbol stream;

    an audio codec operable to convert an output digital signal into an output voice signal;

    a bus matrix operably coupled to the audio codec; and

    a processing unit operably coupled to the signal receiving section and the bus matrix, wherein the processing unit is operable to;

    convert the cellular data inbound symbol stream into a first voice over internet protocol (VoIP) signal;

    convert the WLAN inbound symbol stream into a second VoIP signal; and

    facilitate providing, via the bus matrix, at least one of the first and second VoIP signals to the audio codec as the output digital signal.
