1. A multi-screen user device comprising:

  • at least one position sensor that detects an angular relationship of a first screen relative to a second screen, the at least one position sensor indicating the multi-screen user device is in one of two or more predefined positions, wherein, at a first predefined position, the at least one position sensor outputs a first trigger signal corresponding to a first angular relationship, and wherein, at a second predefined position, the at least one position sensor outputs a second trigger signal corresponding to a second angular relationship; and

    a controller that;

    receives the first trigger signal;

    in response to the receiving first trigger signal, controls first screen functions associated with the first screen, wherein the first screen functions include two or more of display configuration, pattern recognition, gesture capture region enablement, touch screen enablement, screen enablement, and button enablement;

    in response to the receiving first trigger signal, controls second screen functions associated with the second screen, wherein the second screen functions include two or more of display configuration, pattern recognition, gesture capture region enablement, touch screen enablement, screen enablement, and button enablement, wherein how the second screen functions associated with the second screen are controlled is different from how the first screen functions associated with the first screen are controlled;

    receives the second trigger signal;

    in response to the receiving second trigger signal, controls first screen functions associated with the first screen; and

    in response to the receiving second trigger signal, controls second screen functions associated with the second screen, wherein the second screen functions further include two or more of gesture capture region disablement, touch screen disablement, screen disablement, and button disablement, wherein how the second screen functions associated with the second screen are controlled is different from how the first screen functions associated with the first screen are controlled.
