1. A vehicle powering wireless power receiver, comprising:

  • an array of electromagnetic resonators configured for attachment to the vehicle, wherein each resonator in the array comprises a magnetic material and a coil comprising a plurality of loops of conducting material encircling the magnetic material; and

a load coupled to the array and to a drive system of the vehicle, wherein each resonator in the array is oriented so that electrical current circulating within the resonator'"'"'s coil generates a magnetic dipole moment that falls within a plane defined by the resonator'"'"'s magnetic material; and

wherein the array is configured to receive power from a resonant, non-radiative wireless power source and to deliver power to the load.
