1. A user device comprising:
- a display disposed at a front side of the user device;
one or more antennas to transmit information;
one or more sensors to detect a presence of a human body part, wherein the one or more sensors are at predetermined distances from the one or more antennas to detect the presence of the human body part within a proximity of the one or more antennas; and
a power manager configured to reduce a power output of the one or more antennas when the presence of the human body part is detected, wherein a level of reduction for the power output of the one or more antennas is based on a combination of transmit power levels of two or more previous transmissions within a sample period, and wherein the two or more previous transmissions were made while the one or more sensors detected the human body part within the proximity of the one or more antennas.

Abstract
A user device transmits data at a first transmit power level. The user device detects a presence of a human body part within a predetermined distance from an antenna of the user device using one or more sensors disposed at a back side of the user device. In response to the detection of the presence of the human body part, the user device transmits information at a second transmit power level that is less than the first transmit power level.

19. A method comprising:
-
transmitting information using one or more antennas of a user device; detecting a presence of a human body part by one or more sensors of the user device, wherein the one or more sensors are at predetermined distances from the one or more antennas to detect the presence of the human body part within a proximity of the one or more antennas; and reducing a power output of the one or more antennas when the presence of the human body part is detected within the proximity of the one or more antennas, wherein a level of reduction for the power output of the one or more antennas is based on a combination of transmit power levels of two or more previous transmissions within a sample period, and wherein the two or more previous transmissions were made while the one or more sensors detected the human body part within the proximity of the one or more antennas. - View Dependent Claims (20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 28)
