1. An apparatus for applying sealant to a target tissue site, the apparatus comprising:

  • a handle member including an operating mechanism and a first reservoir having a first sealant therein;

    a shaft extending distally from the handle member and defining a longitudinal axis; and

    an end effector positioned at a distal end of the shaft, the end effector including a first jaw and a second jaw, the end effector having an open position, where a distal end of the first jaw is spaced apart from a distal end of the second jaw, and a closed position, where the distal end of the first jaw is engaged with the distal end of the second jaw;

    wherein the operating mechanism of the handle member has a neutral position and an actuated position, when the operating mechanism moves from the neutral position to the actuated position, the first sealant is pushed from the first reservoir through the shaft and dispensed from a channel extending around at least one of the first jaw and the second jaw.
