1. An energy delivery device, comprising:

  • an elongate shaft through which a coolant is capable of flowing and having a longitudinal axis; and

an ablation assembly coupled to the elongate shaft, the ablation assembly includingan expandable member, andan energy emitter assembly including a fluid delivery conduit, and at least one ablation electrode that extends along the fluid delivery conduit, wherein the fluid delivery conduit and the at least one ablation electrode are at least partially movable relative to an underlying surface of the expandable member between a first orientation and a second orientation, wherein a first dimension of the ablation electrode is at a smaller angle relative to the longitudinal axis in the first orientation than in the second orientation, and the ablation electrode is arranged to extend circumferentially around the expandable member and fit at least partially within a space between adjacent cartilage rings of an airway of a patient in the second orientation.
