1. An energy delivery device, comprising:
- an elongate shaft through which a coolant is capable of flowing and having a longitudinal axis; and
an ablation assembly coupled to the elongate shaft, the ablation assembly includingan expandable member, andan energy emitter assembly including a fluid delivery conduit, and at least one ablation electrode that extends along the fluid delivery conduit, wherein the fluid delivery conduit and the at least one ablation electrode are at least partially movable relative to an underlying surface of the expandable member between a first orientation and a second orientation, wherein a first dimension of the ablation electrode is at a smaller angle relative to the longitudinal axis in the first orientation than in the second orientation, and the ablation electrode is arranged to extend circumferentially around the expandable member and fit at least partially within a space between adjacent cartilage rings of an airway of a patient in the second orientation.

15. An energy delivery device, comprising:

a deployable element movable between a collapsed state and an expanded state; and an energy emitter assembly including a fluid delivery conduit that curves circumferentially around at least a portion of the deployable element in the expanded state, and an electrode that extends along the fluid delivery conduit, and that is at least partially movable relative to an underlying surface of the deployable element, the electrode being moveable relative to the deployable element from a first position to a second position as the deployable element expands, the electrode extending a first distance along to a longitudinal axis of the energy delivery device in the first position and a second distance along to the longitudinal axis in the second position, the first distance being greater than the second distance, wherein in the expanded state the deployable element is configured to urge the electrode to at least partially fit within an intercartilaginous space between adjacent cartilage rings of an airway wall of a bronchial tree, and wherein the fluid delivery conduit is configured to cool the electrode in the second position. - View Dependent Claims (16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27)
