Abstract

The present invention relates to compounds and methods for treating viral diseases. Some compounds of the invention are described by Formula I: (I), wherein M⁺ is Na⁺, Li⁺, K⁺, Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺, or NR_cR_dR_eR_f⁺ and R_c, R_d, R_e and R_f are each independently hydrogen or C_1-5 alkyl, or a stereoisomer, a diastereomer, an enantiomer or racemate thereof.

7. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 5, wherein the compound has purity greater than 96%.

8. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 5, wherein the compound has purity greater than 97%.

9. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 5, wherein the compound has purity greater than 98%.

10. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 5, wherein the compound has purity greater than 99%.
