1. An electronic device, comprising:

  • a flexible substrate having a flat state and a curled state, the curled state of the flexible substrate suitable for conforming to an appendage of a user of the electronic device;

    a flexible display coupled to a first surface of the flexible substrate;

    a touch sensor overlaying the flexible display; and

    a capacitive element coupled to a second surface of the flexible substrate, the second surface being opposite the first surface,wherein when the capacitive element is capacitively coupled with the touch sensor in the curled state and the touch sensor detects the capacitive element in a position corresponding to a first portion of the flexible display being overlapped by a second portion of the flexible display, the flexible display deactivates the first portion of the flexible display.
