1. A method for transmitting an acknowledgement/not-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) for a Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest (HARQ) by a user equipment (UE) in a carrier aggregation (CA) system, the method comprising:

  • receiving, from a base station (BS), downlink control information (DCI) indicating downlink data transmission on a secondary component carrier (SCC), wherein the DCI includes 2 bits of a transmission power control (TPC) field indicating at least two ACK/NACK resources, and the two ACK/NACK resources correspond to n-th ACK/NACK resource value in a first ACK/NACK resource set and n-th ACK/NACK resource value in a second ACK/NACK resource set respectively configured by a higher layer, wherein n is an integer;

    mapping, based on a channel selection, an ACK/NACK in response to the downlink data transmission onto a combination of one of the two ACK/NACK resource and a modulation symbol; and

    transmitting, to the BS, the ACK/NACK by using the combination.
