Abstract

A computer-implemented method includes generating a communication to be sent from a sender to a recipient who are related to one another by blood or employment; and scheduling delivery of the communication to the recipient based on a future location of the recipient. The content of the communication and the future location of the recipient are determined from an analysis of electronically-accessible resources by or about the sender, the recipient, or both.

Claims

1. A computer system comprising:

a processor coupled to a memory, the processor and the memory configured to;

infer an identity of a recipient of a communication to be sent from or on behalf of a sender based on one or more recipient criteria indicative of the identity of the recipient;

infer, from among multiple possible locations, an expected future location of the recipient based on one or more location criteria indicative of the multiple possible locations and based on an automated analysis of content of publicly available electronically-accessible resources;

detect an actual location of a mobile computing device associated with the recipient, including detecting GPS coordinates of the mobile computing device; and

cause the communication to be sent to the recipient when the actual location of mobile computing device associated with the recipient is within a threshold distance of the expected future location.

2. The system of claim 1, in which the one or more location criteria include at least one of a characteristic of the expected future location, a characteristic of the sender, and a characteristic of the recipient.

3. The system of claim 1, in which the processor and the memory are configured to send the communication to the recipient when the recipient is at or near the expected future location at a particular future time.

4. The system of claim 3, in which the processor and the memory are configured to infer the particular future time based on one or more time criteria indicative of the particular future time.

5. The system of claim 1, in which the processor and the memory are configured to infer content for the communication to be sent from or on behalf of a sender to the recipient based on a relationship between (a) information indicative of the content and (b) content of publicly available electronically-accessible resources by or about the sender, the recipient, or both.

6. The system of claim 5, in which the processor and the memory are configured to generate the communication including at least some of the inferred content.

7. The system of claim 5, in which the processor and the memory are configured to generate the communication, wherein generating the communication comprises:

generating a draft communication including at least some of the inferred content;

providing the draft communication to the sender; and

receiving the communication from the sender.

8. The system of claim 1, in which the one or more recipient criteria include a relationship between the sender and the recipient.

9. The system of claim 8, in which the one or more recipient criteria include a future relationship between the sender and the recipient.

10. The system of claim 8, in which the one or more recipient criteria include a characteristic of the recipient.

11. The system in claim 1, in which the processor and the memory are configured to infer the identity of the recipient of the communication based on content of publicly available electronically accessible resources by or about the sender, the recipient, or both.

12. A non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions for causing a computing system to:

infer an identity of a recipient of a communication to be sent from or on behalf of a sender based on one or more recipient criteria indicative of the identity of the recipient;

infer, from among multiple possible locations, an expected future location of the recipient based on one or more location criteria indicative of the multiple possible locations and based on an automated analysis of content of publicly available electronically-accessible resources;

detect an actual location of a mobile computing device associated with the recipient, including detecting GPS coordinates of the mobile computing device; and

cause the communication to be sent to the recipient when the actual location of mobile computing device associated with the recipient is within a threshold distance of the expected future location.

13. The computer readable medium of claim 12, in which the one or more location criteria include at least one of a characteristic of the expected future location, a characteristic of the sender, and a characteristic of the recipient.

14. The computer readable medium of claim 12, in which the instructions cause the computing system to send the communication to the recipient when the recipient is at or near the expected future location at a particular future time.

15. The computer readable medium of claim 14, in which the instructions cause the computing system to infer the particular future time based on one or more time criteria indicative of the particular future time.

16. The computer readable medium of claim 12, in which the instructions cause the computing system to infer content for the communication to be sent from or on behalf of a sender to the recipient based on a relationship between (a) information indicative of the content and (b) content of publicly available electronically-accessible resources by or about the sender, the recipient, or both.

17. The computer readable medium of claim 16, in which the instructions cause the computing system to generate the communication including at least some of the inferred content.

18. The computer readable medium of claim 16, in which the instructions cause the computing system to generate the communication, wherein generating the communication comprises:

generating a draft communication including at least some of the inferred content;

providing the draft communication to the sender; and

receiving the communication from the sender.

19. The computer readable medium of claim 12, in which the one or more recipient criteria include a relationship between the sender and the recipient.

20. The computer readable medium of claim 19, in which the one or more recipient criteria include a future relationship between the sender and the recipient.

21. The computer readable medium of claim 19, in which the one or more recipient criteria include a characteristic of the recipient.

22. The computer readable medium of claim 12, in which the instructions cause the computing system to infer the identity of the recipient of the communication based on content of publicly available electronically accessible resources by or about the sender, the recipient, or both.
