1. A method of wireless communication, comprising:

  • configuring, a plurality of remote radio heads (RRHs), each RRH having a same physical cell identity (PCI) as a macro eNodeB, to prevent position location reference signal (PRS) transmissions on subframes where the macro eNodeB transmits PRS by scheduling a PRS transmission time of each RRH to be at a time that is different from a PRS transmission time of other RRHs of the plurality of RRHs and a PRS transmission time of the macro eNodeB, and each RRH and macro eNodeB transmitting a same PRS that does not indicate a source of transmission; and

    communicating in accordance with the configuration.
