1. A computer-implemented method of replacing audio content in video files uploaded to a video hosting website, the method comprising:

  • receiving, at a video hosting website, a video file uploaded to the video hosting website from a client device of a user, the received video file including video content and audio content that were combined before the received video file was uploaded to the video hosting website;

    receiving a request from the user to replace the audio content included in the received video file with licensed audio content responsive to receiving the video file;

    providing to the user a list of selectable licensed audio files responsive to receiving the request, wherein each selectable licensed audio file is licensed for use on the video hosting website and is selectable to replace the audio content included in the received video file;

    receiving, from the user, a selection of a licensed audio file from the list of selectable licensed audio files;

    replacing, by a computer, the audio content included in the received video file with the user selected licensed audio file; and

    publishing the received video file including the user selected licensed audio file on the video hosting website.
