a geographic location of the electronic device; and

providing a plurality of captured user experiences to the second user for selection;
receiving from the second user a selection of at least one of the plurality of captured user experiences;
providing to the second user at least one detail of the selected at least one of the plurality of captured user experiences; and
automatically alerting the second user as a result of a future event notification trigger set by a data-creating user of the selected at least one of the plurality of captured user experiences.

A method and device of sharing an event or experience by capturing a geographic location of the and at least one detail of the experience or event in the form of data such as video, text, sound, or pictures, with an electronic device, storing the geographic location plus the data on a database accessible to a plurality of users. The application further alerts a user or a plurality of users of the details of the experience when the user is near the geographic location where the at least one detail of the experience was captured and guiding the user to the geographic location where the experience was captured.

9. A mobile device operable to record an event at a geographical location, the mobile device comprising:

a communication unit communicatively coupled to a database over a wireless network; a GPS receiver unit operable to determine a geographical location of the communication unit; a computer display operable to display a user-selectable time interface; a memory unit operable to; receive data and a geographical location pertaining to an event; a processor communicatively coupled to the communication unit, the GPS receiver unit, the computer display, and to the memory unit, the processor operable to; receive a user-selected time input by the user via the user-selectable time interface; associate the user-selected time with the event; transfer the data, the user-selected time; and
the geographical location of the event to the database, wherein the data includes at least one detail of the event, the at least one detail of the event including a textual description of the event manually entered into the mobile device by a user;provide an alert of at least one other event stored in the database as a result of the mobile device being within a preset distance of a geographical location of the at least one other event; retrieve over the wireless network data of the at least one other event from the database; and guide the user to the geographical location of the at least one other event retrieved. - View Dependent Claims (10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16)
