A sulfide solid electrolyte material comprising an ion conductor having an anion structure of an ortho-composition with a ratio of 70 mol % or more to all anion structures, and LiI,wherein the sulfide solid electrolyte material is glass with a glass transition point,the ion conductor contains Li, X (X is P, Si, Al or B), and S, and a content of the LiI is within a range of 10 mol % to 30 mol %.

The main object of the present invention is to provide a sulfide solid electrolyte material with high Li ion conductivity. The present invention solves the problem by providing a sulfide solid electrolyte material comprising an ion conductor with an ortho-composition, and LiI, characterized in that the sulfide solid electrolyte material is glass with a glass transition point.
