1. A method for data communication, comprising:
- receiving, by a mobility management entity (MME), a request message from a user equipment (UE), wherein the request message comprises an ability information of the UE indicating whether the UE has an ability to access one of a Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network(UTRAN) and a GSM/EDGE Radio Access Network (GERAN);
determining, by the MME, that the UE has the ability to access the one of the UTRAN and the GERAN according to the ability information of the UE;
creating, by the MME, a request for a default bearer of the UE and transmitting the request for the default bearer to a serving gateway (SGW);
forwarding, by the SGW, the request for the default bearer to a packet data network gateway (PGW);
creating, by the PGW, a response for the default bearer corresponding to the request for the default bearer and transmitting the response for the default bearer to the SGW;
forwarding, by the SGW, the response for the default bearer to the MME;
generating, by the MME, a transaction identifier (TI) for the default bearer of the UE based on the determination that the UE has the ability to access the one of the UTRAN and the GERAN.

Abstract
A data communication method, a communication system, and related devices are configured to establish a transaction identifier (TI) in a user equipment (UE). The data communication method includes the following steps. A mobility management entity (MME) receives a request message and obtains ability information of the UE. If the UE has an ability to access a Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network/GSM/EDGE Radio Access Network (UTRAN/GERAN), the MME generates the TI. A communication system and related devices are also provided. Thus, the TI is effectively established in the UE, so as to ensure normal processing of the UE.
