1. A terminal apparatus comprising:

  • a receiver which, in operation, receives downlink control information which includes a resource allocation field for signaling resource allocation information that indicates resources assigned to the terminal apparatus; and

    a controller coupled to the receiver;

    wherein when a plurality of clusters are allocated to the terminal apparatus and a number of available bits in the resource allocation field is smaller than a number of bits necessary to indicate the allocated plurality of clusters,the receiver receives a portion of the bits necessary to indicate the allocated plurality of clusters from the available bits in the resource allocation field; and

    the controller assumes remaining bit(s) of the bits necessary to indicate the allocated plurality of clusters to be a defined value, andwherein when the number of available bits in the resource allocation field is equal to or larger than the number of bits necessary to indicate the allocated plurality of clusters,the receiver receives the bits necessary to indicate the allocated plurality of clusters from the available bits in the resource allocation field; and

    wherein the controller, in operation, determines the resource allocation information based at least on the available bits in the resource allocation field included in the received downlink control information.
