1. A sensor for detecting an object, comprising:

  • a probe electrode for forming a measuring capacitance (C1) with the object to be detected,a charge generator for generating an alternating charging voltage (U3), wherein the probe electrode is charged by the alternating charging voltage (U3),an amplifier (A) for amplifying an input voltage, the input voltage comprising a voltage across the measuring capacitance (C1), wherein the amplifier (A) includes a first supply voltage connection (A1) and a second supply voltage connection (A2),a processing component for processing signals that are outputted at an output of the amplifier (A) to form at least one output signal, andat least one sensor output for outputting the at least one output signal, wherein a second supply voltage (U2) in the form of a DC voltage is directly connected to the second supply voltage connection (A2), anda first supply voltage (U1) having an AC voltage portion is directly connected to the first supply voltage connection (A1), wherein the AC voltage portion is generated by a supply voltage generator, wherein the charge generator and the supply voltage generator comprise the same generator and wherein the AC voltage portion of the first supply voltage (U1) is determined by the alternating charging voltage (U3).
