1. A dialysis machine comprising:
- a source of dialysis solution;
a pump configured to pump the dialysis solution;
a heater configured to heat the dialysis solution;
an electrical input receiving power from a remote power source;
a housing supporting the pump, the heater and the electrical input, the housing including an electrical insulation rated for 240 VAC such that the remote power source is ungrounded and either 110 or 240 VAC; and
a control scheme for operating the heater within the 240 VAC rated housing, the control scheme accounting for a voltage of the remote power source to automatically maintain a dialysis solution temperature within predetermined limits using the heater regardless of whether the voltage is 110 or 240 VAC.

13. A dialysis machine comprising:
-
a source of dialysis solution; a pump configured to pump the dialysis solution; a heater configured to heat the dialysis solution; an electrical input configured to receive power from a non-earth grounded remote power source for powering at least the pump and the heater; electrical insulation isolating the pump and the heater such that the power source can be ungrounded; and a control scheme for operating the heater, the control scheme accounting for a voltage of the non-earth grounded power source to automatically maintain a dialysis solution temperature within predetermined limits using the heater regardless of whether the voltage is 110 or 240 VAC. - View Dependent Claims (14, 15, 16, 17, 18)

19. A dialysis machine method comprising:
-
electrically insulating a dialysis machine such that (i) input power can vary between 110 VAC and 240 VAC and (ii) the input power can be from a non-earth grounded power source; and controlling a heater of the dialysis machine by accounting for a voltage of the non-earth grounded power source to automatically maintain a dialysis solution temperature within predetermined limits using the heater regardless of whether the voltage is 110 or 240 VAC. - View Dependent Claims (20, 21)
