1. A method of tracking sag in a power signal supplied to industrial equipment, the method comprising:

  • determining, via a sag detection module coupled to a cable carrying the power signal, when an amplitude of the power signal transitions to an amplitude level below a threshold value based at least on an output of a tracking filter having a first bandwidth;

    indicating, via a sag state device coupled to an output of the sag detection module, a sag state of the power signal when the amplitude level of the power signal is below the threshold value;

    setting, via a bandwidth determination module coupled to an output of the sag state device, a bandwidth of the tracking filter to a second bandwidth different from the first bandwidth when the sag state device indicates the sag state;

    determining, via a sag recovery module coupled to the cable, when the amplitude of the power signal transitions to an amplitude level above the threshold value based at least on the output of the tracking filter having the second bandwidth; and

    setting, via the bandwidth determination module, the bandwidth of the tracking filter to the first bandwidth when the amplitude level of the power signal is above the threshold value.
