Abstract

Mobile networks for peer to peer direct communication with cascaded repeaters between mobile devices in a star, mesh or other network configuration. A first mobile device receives and demodulates, from a cellular system, a first modulated spread spectrum signal into a first baseband signal. In the first mobile device the first baseband signal is stored and or is processed and provided to a first transmitter for transmission as a first OFDM modulated signal. The first OFDM modulated signal is received in a second mobile device. The second mobile device demodulates the first OFDM modulated signal into a second baseband signal. In the second mobile device the second baseband signal is stored and or is processed and provided to a second transmitter. The second transmitter, is in the second mobile device and it transmits a second OFDM modulated signal. The second OFDM modulated signal is received by a third mobile device. The third mobile device demodulates the second OFDM modulated signal into a third baseband signal. In the third mobile device the third baseband signal is stored and or is processed and provided to a third transmitter. The third transmitter, is in the third mobile device and it transmits a second OFDM modulated signal. The operation of the mobile devices is controlled by touch screen control signals and authentication of the mobile devices is by fingerprint authentication.

Claims

1. A method comprising steps of:

receiving and demodulating in a mobile device a first Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexed (OFDM) modulated signal into a first OFDM baseband signal;

processing or storing said first OFDM baseband signal into a processed or stored first OFDM baseband signal;

providing said processed or stored first OFDM baseband signal to a modulator for modulation of said processed or stored first OFDM baseband signal into a second OFDM modulated signal;

providing said second OFDM modulated signal to a transmitter for transmission of said second OFDM modulated signal, said first OFDM modulated signal and said second OFDM modulated signal are in different radio frequency bands;

receiving and demodulating a modulated signal into demodulated location finding baseband signal;

converting a photo camera generated signal into a baseband photo camera signal, said photo camera is in said mobile device;

processing said location finding baseband signal with said baseband photo camera signal into cross-correlated Time Constrained (TCS) waveforms and cascaded Long Response (LR) filter filtered baseband signals;

modulating said cross-correlated signals in a quadrature modulator into a cross-correlated modulated signal and transmitting from said mobile device said cross-correlated modulated signal;

receiving a fingerprint generated signal for providing from said fingerprint generated signal a fingerprint authentication signal, said fingerprint authentication signal is used for authentication of a user of said mobile device; and

further comprising in said mobile device a method for modulation in a modulator a first Gaussian Minimum Shift Keying (GMSK) transmit filter filtered baseband signal into a first filtered modulated GMSK signal, said first filtered modulated GMSK signal comprises cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature phase TCS waveforms and cascaded LR filter filtered signals, and demodulating in said mobile device a second GMSK modulated signal into a second GMSK baseband signal, said mobile device is in an automobile, or comprising a method in said mobile device wherein a motion detector generates a motion detector signal for control of said mobile device, or further comprising method for a heart rate sensor for detecting and measuring heart rate, said heart rate sensor is in said mobile device or is connected to said mobile device.

The method of claim 1, further comprising method for generating in said mobile device a video signal and processing said video signal into a video spread spectrum signal, said video spread spectrum signal comprises cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature phase TCS waveforms and cascaded LR filter filtered video signals and for modulating in a quadrature modulator said video spread spectrum cross-correlated TCS waveforms and cascaded LR filter filtered video signals into a modulated video spread spectrum cross-correlated modulated signal and transmitting said video spread spectrum cross-correlated modulated signal.

The method of claim 1, further comprising a method for processing in said mobile device a touch screen generated signals into a touch screen control signal for control of said mobile device and receiving a motion generated signal and using said motion generated signal for control of one or more functions of said mobile device and comprising a method for generating or processing or scanning three dimensional (3D) images in said mobile device.

4. The method of claim 1, further comprising steps of generating in said mobile device a voice signal and providing a Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) connection to a network for transmitting said voice signal over said VoIP connection.

The method of claim 1, further comprising step of receiving, in said mobile device, signals received from one or more sensors, said signals received from one or more sensors are for processing and displaying, or processing and transmitting, the heart rate, or the Electro Cardiogram (ECG) or of other medical or diagnostic information of a user of said mobile device.

6. The method of claim 1, further comprising steps of:

receiving, demodulating and processing, in said mobile device, a spread spectrum modulated signal into a spread spectrum baseband signal;

storing, or processing said spread spectrum baseband signal in said mobile device into a processed third OFDM baseband signal;

modulating said processed third OFDM signal into a third OFDM modulated signal;

transmitting said third OFDM modulated signal;

receiving and demodulating, in a second mobile device, said third OFDM modulated transmitted signal into a fourth OFDM baseband signal said second mobile device is operated in a peer to peer communication network in a repeater mode, in said repeater mode said second mobile device processes in cascade said third OFDM modulated transmitted signal into a fourth OFDM baseband signal;

storing or processing, in said second mobile device, said fourth OFDM baseband signal into a stored fourth baseband signal or processing said fourth OFDM baseband signal into a processed fifth OFDM signal;

modulating said fifth OFDM signal into a fifth OFDM modulated signal;

transmitting said fifth OFDM modulated signal; and

processing in said mobile device a touch screen generated signals into a touch screen control signals for control of said first mobile device or for remote control of a television (TV) set.

The method of claim 1, further comprising a method wherein a motion detector generates a motion detector signal for control of said mobile device, said motion detector is in said mobile device and further comprising method for storing said first OFDM baseband signal into a stored first OFDM baseband signal and comprising method for modulation and transmission of said stored first OFDM baseband signal.

8. A method comprising steps of:

receiving and demodulating in a mobile device a first Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexed (OFDM) modulated signal into a first OFDM baseband signal;

processing said first OFDM baseband signal into a processed first OFDM baseband signal;

providing said processed first OFDM baseband signal to a modulator for modulation of said processed first OFDM baseband signal into a second OFDM modulated signal;

providing said second OFDM modulated signal to a transmitter for transmission of said second OFDM modulated signal, said first OFDM modulated signal and said second OFDM modulated signal are in different radio frequency bands;

receiving, demodulating and processing in said mobile device one or more modulated signals into a processed location finding baseband signal for providing said processed location finding baseband signal to an interface unit of said mobile device;

processing a video camera generated signal in said mobile device into a processed video camera generated signal;

processing said processed video camera generated signal with said processed location finding baseband signal into cross-correlated Time Constrained (TCS) waveforms and cascaded Long Response (LR) filter filtered baseband signals;

modulating said cross-correlated signals in a quadrature modulator into a cross-correlated modulated signal and transmitting from said mobile device said cross-correlated modulated signal;

generating in said mobile device a voice signal and providing a Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) connection to a network for transmitting said voice signal over said VoIP connection;

processing in said first mobile device a touch screen generated signal into a touch screen control signal for control of said mobile device or for remote control of a television (TV) set;

and further comprising steps of;

receiving, demodulating and processing, in said mobile device, a spread spectrum modulated signal into a spread spectrum baseband signal;

storing, or processing said spread spectrum baseband signal in said mobile device into a processed third OFDM baseband signal;

modulating said processed third OFDM signal into a third OFDM modulated signal;

transmitting said third OFDM modulated signal;

receiving and demodulating, in a second mobile device, said third OFDM modulated transmitted signal into a fourth OFDM baseband signal;

storing or processing, in said second mobile device, said fourth OFDM baseband signal into a stored fourth baseband signal or processing said fourth OFDM baseband signal into a processed fifth OFDM signal;

modulating said fifth OFDM signal into a fifth OFDM modulated signal;

transmitting said fifth OFDM modulated signal.

9. The method of claim 8, further comprising steps of:

transmitting from said mobile device a wireless modulated signal to a television (TV) set, said wireless modulated signal is used for remote control of said TV set.

The method of claim 8, further comprising a method for receiving and demodulating in said mobile device a video spread spectrum modulated signal into a video baseband spread spectrum baseband signal, said video baseband spread spectrum baseband signal is converted into a video Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexed (OFDM) baseband signal;

and

modulating said video baseband OFDM baseband signal in a modulator into a modulated video OFDM modulated signal and transmitting in said mobile device said modulated video OFDM signal.

The method of claim 8, further comprising a method for fingerprint authentication of said mobile device and said mobile device is installed into an automobile and wherein said wherein said Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is in a Wi-Fi network and comprising a method for generating or processing or scanning three dimensional (3D) images in said mobile device.

12. The method of claim 8, wherein said second mobile device is operated in a peer to peer communication network in a repeater mode.

13. The method of claim 8, further comprising a method for receiving and demodulating in said mobile device one or more modulated signals into a location finding baseband signal;

processing a photo camera signal in said mobile device into a processed signal;

camera signal;

incorporating said location finding baseband signal into said processed photo camera signal to provide a location based photo camera baseband signal;

processing said location based photo camera baseband signal in a first cross-correlator into cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase location based photo camera baseband signals;

modulating said location based photo camera baseband cross-correlated signals in a modulator into a location based photo camera cross-correlated modulated signal and transmitting in said mobile device said location based photo camera cross-correlated modulated signal.

14. The method of claim 8, further comprising a method for processing a video signal in said first mobile device into a processed video signal;

incorporating said location finding baseband signal into said processed video signal to provide a location based video baseband signal;

processing said location based video baseband signal in a cross-correlator into cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase location based video baseband signals; and

modulating said location based video baseband cross-correlated signals in a modulator into a cross-correlated modulated signal and transmitting in said first mobile device said cross-correlated location based video modulated signal.

15. The method of claim 8, further comprising step of receiving, in said mobile device, information signals received from one or more sensors, said information signals are for monitoring the heart rate, or monitoring the Electro Cardiogram (ECG) or monitoring of other medical or diagnostic information of a user of said mobile device, said one or more sensors are in said first mobile device, or provide signals to said first mobile device, or receiving a fingerprint generated signal for providing from said fingerprint generated signal a fingerprint authentication signal, said fingerprint authentication signal is used for authentication of a user of said mobile device.

16. A method comprising steps of:

receiving and demodulating in a mobile device a first Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexed (OFDM) modulated signal into a first OFDM baseband signal;

processing or storing said first OFDM baseband signal into a processed or stored first OFDM baseband signal;

providing said processed or stored first OFDM baseband signal to a modulator for modulation of said processed or stored first OFDM baseband signal into a second OFDM modulated signal;

providing said second OFDM modulated signal to a transmitter for transmission of said second OFDM modulated signal, said first OFDM modulated signal and said second OFDM modulated signal are in different radio frequency bands;

processing a video camera generated signal in said mobile device into a processed video camera generated signal;

processing said processed video camera generated signal into a processed video OFDM signal;

modulating said a processed video OFDM signal into a video OFDM modulated signal;

transmitting in said transmitter said video OFDM modulated signal;

receiving and demodulating a modulated signal into demodulated location finding baseband signal;

converting a photo camera generated signal into a baseband photo camera signal, said photo camera is in said mobile device;

processing said location finding baseband signal with said baseband photo camera signal into cross-correlated Time Constrained (TCS) waveforms and cascaded Long Response (LR) filter filtered baseband signals;

modulating said cross-correlated signals in a quadrature modulator into a cross-correlated modulated signal and transmitting from said mobile device said cross-correlated modulated signal;

receiving a motion generated signal and using said motion generated signal for control of one or more functions of said mobile device;

processing in said mobile device a touch screen generated signals into a touch screen control signals for control of said first mobile device or for remote control of a television (TV) set; and

further comprising steps of;

receiving, demodulating and processing, in said mobile device, a spread spectrum modulated signal into a spread spectrum baseband signal;

storing, or processing said spread spectrum baseband signal in said mobile device into a processed third OFDM baseband signal;

modulating said processed third OFDM signal into a third OFDM modulated signal;

transmitting said third OFDM modulated signal;

receiving and demodulating, in a second mobile device, said third OFDM modulated transmitted signal into a fourth OFDM baseband signal;

storing or processing, in said second mobile device, said fourth OFDM baseband signal into a stored fourth baseband signal or processing said fourth OFDM baseband signal into a processed fifth OFDM signal;

modulating said fifth OFDM signal into a fifth OFDM modulated signal;

transmitting said fifth OFDM modulated signal.

17. The method of claim 16, wherein said second mobile device is operated in a peer to peer communication network in a repeater mode, in said repeater mode said second mobile device processes in cascade said third OFDM modulated transmitted signal into a fourth OFDM baseband signal and further comprising steps of

processing in said mobile device a touch screen generated signals into a touch screen control signals for control of said first mobile device or for remote control of a television (TV) set.

The method of claim 16, wherein said first OFDM modulated signal is received from a cellular base station transmitter and said second OFDM modulated signal is transmitted in a Wi-Fi network and further comprising a method for generating or processing or scanning three dimensional (3D) images in said mobile device.

The method of claim 16, further comprising steps of generating in said mobile device a voice signal or a video signal and transmitting said voice signal in a Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Wi-Fi network or transmitting said video signal in a Video Internet Protocol (VoIP) network and further comprising method for storing said first OFDM baseband signal into a stored first OFDM baseband signal and comprising method for modulation and transmission of said stored first OFDM baseband signal.

20. The method of claim 16, further comprising a method for a heart rate sensor for detecting, measuring and displaying, in said mobile device, said heart rate, said heart rate sensor is in said mobile device or is connected to said mobile device.
