1. A dialysis system for delivering a target volume of a fluid to a destination, the system comprising:

  • a user interface, the user interface configured to allow user selection of a mode from a plurality of user selectable modes, one of the plurality of user selectable modes being a low volume delivery mode which limits the target volume to a predetermined range;

    a flow control module configured to pneumatically act on a delivery set to direct fluid flow through the delivery set, the delivery set having one or more pumping chambers and one or more valve arrangements for controlling fluid communication throughout the system; and

    a controller configured for controlling how much of the fluid is delivered to the destination, controlling the one or more valve arrangements, and controlling the fluid control module, the controller configured for executing each of the plurality of delivery modes,wherein when in the low volume delivery mode, the controller is configured to command the flow control module to deliver a first volume of the fluid to the destination and a second volume of the fluid to the destination, the sum of the first volume of the fluid and the second volume of the fluid approximately equal to the target volume, and the controller is configured to command the flow control module to deliver the first volume of the fluid in increments each having approximately a first incremental volume, and for delivering the second volume of the fluid to the destination in increments each having approximately a second incremental volume, the second incremental volume being less than the first incremental volume.
