1. A computer-implemented method for determining which advertisement to provide, the method comprising:

  • a) automatically accepting location information for a first user;

    b) automatically selecting a first advertisement from a plurality of qualified advertisements, each qualified advertisement having a location requirement from a corresponding advertiser to direct the advertisement, the location requirement comprising at least a first latitude/longitude pair and at least one range, the location requirement met by the location information for the first user, each qualified advertisement having a utility value, said first advertisement being selected for having a high utility value relative to at least one of the other qualified advertisements, the first advertisement having first performance data; and

    ,c) automatically providing the first performance data for the first advertisement for the first user.
