1. A physiological measuring platform (PMP) device comprising:

  • a central processing unit (CPU) that is configured to control operation of the PMP device;

    a display screen; and

    a set of one or more computer-readable data storage media storing software instructions that, when executed by the CPU, cause the PMP device to;

    display, on the display screen, a monitoring workflow home screen when the PMP device is operating within a monitoring workflow, wherein the monitoring workflow home screen includes a first blood pressure measurement display of a first size;

    obtain a series of measurements of a physiological parameter of a monitored patient when the PMP device is operating within the monitoring workflow;

    display, on the display screen, a non-monitoring workflow home screen when the PMP device is operating within a non-monitoring workflow, wherein the non-monitoring workflow home screen includes a second blood pressure measurement display of a second size, the second size being larger than the first size;

    obtain a measurement of the physiological parameter of each patient in a series of patients when the PMP device is operating within the non-monitoring workflow;

    display, on the display screen, a patient selection screen including a patient listing area, the patient listing area displaying a plurality of patient namesdisplay an intervals screen, the intervals screen being navigable from the monitoring workflow home screen, wherein the intervals screen includes a user-selectable duration control and a user-selectable interval control,wherein the user-selectable duration control sets a first length of time during which the PMP device records measurements for a given physiological Parameter; and

    wherein the user-selectable interval control sets a second length of time between measurements recorded by the PMP device.
