1. A handheld computing device, comprising:

  • a screen to receive input from and provide graphical output to a user;

    a processor, coupled to the screen, to execute machine readable instructions, receive user input from the screen, control one or more operations of the device in response thereto, and provide graphical output to the user;

    a computer readable medium, coupled to the processor, to store the machine readable instructions, the processor being part of a printed circuit board, the printed circuit board having a conductive pad to receive electrical energy;

    an energy storage device to power the screen, processor, and computer readable medium; and

    a first portion of an electrically conductive member positioned between the screen, processor, and computer readable medium located on one side of the electrically conductive member and the energy storage device located on the opposing other side of the electrically conductive member, the first portion of the electrically conductive member comprising an inner surface facing the energy storage device and an outer surface opposite the inner surface and facing the printed circuit board, the first portion of the electrically conductive member being positioned parallel to and contacting a first side of the energy storage device and including a first electrical contact disposed on the outer surface of the first portion contacting the conductive pad of the printed circuit board, the electrically conductive member comprising a flexible tab extending from the first portion contacting the first side of the energy storage device, around a third side of the energy storage device, and including a second electrical contact to contact a second terminal on a second side of the energy storage device, the first and second sides being in an opposing and substantially parallel relationship and the third side being transverse to and intersecting the first and second sides, wherein the first electrical contact disposed on the outer surface of the first portion is separated from the second electrical contact by the energy storage device, and wherein the electrically conductive member transfers electrically energy from the energy storage device to the printed circuit board.
