1. A method, executed by a remote computing station, for remote analysis and processing of full-disclosure data signals representative of patient vital signs collected by a vital signs sensor, comprising the steps of:

  • remotely initializing, by one or more processors of the remote computing station, a communication session with the vital signs sensor communicatively coupled to at least one portable monitor;

    continuously collecting, by the one or more processors of the remote computing station, the full-disclosure data signals representative of the patient vital signs during the communications session while the vital signs sensor is acquiring the patient vital signs, wherein the collected full-disclosure data signals comprises a combination of bit-reduced and/or channel-reduced full-disclosure signals data and uncompressed/unreduced data signals fragments representative of the patient continuous vital signs, wherein at least one portion of the uncompressed/unreduced is selectively included in the full-disclosure data signals in response to a detected pathological/emergency event at the at least one portable monitor;

    processing and analyzing, by the one or more processors of the remote computing station, the collected data signals of the patient vital signs to enable modification of the patient vital signs during the communication session; and

    displaying, on a display of the remote monitoring station, the bit-reduced and/or channel-reduced full-disclosure signals data and uncompressed/unreduced data signals fragments representative of the patients'"'"' continuous vital signs in a manner that visually distinguishes between the bit-reduced and/or channel-reduced full-disclosure signals data and uncompressed/unreduced data signals fragments.
