1. A reader device to provide quality of service in a first network comprising a plurality of wireless devices storing data, the reader device configured to:
- receive, from a second network communicatively coupled to the first network, a plurality of read requests to retrieve data from said wireless devices;
determine a priority level for each of the plurality of read requests; and
execute the plurality of read requests in an order based on the priority levels determined for the plurality of the read requests, wherein the reader device is configured to execute a first read request before a second read request when a priority level associated with the first read request is higher than a priority level associated with the second read request.

In one embodiment the present invention includes a method of providing quality of service in an RFID network comprising storing RFID priority information corresponding to the RFID network, wherein the RFID network comprises one or more tags and one or more readers mapping the RFID priority information into priority information corresponding to a second network.
